Wiveliscombe Joinery Ltd is an independent, family-run joinery business located in the historic town of Wiveliscombe, centred in the heart of Somerset.
Situated approximately 9 miles west of the County town of Taunton and on the doorstep of the Exmoor, Brendon and Quantock Hills, the business is well placed to provide the highest quality joinery to some of the most beautiful properties in Somerset and nearby Devon.
The company is led by husband and wife team, Rob and Georgie Hill.
Prior to founding Wiveliscombe Joinery together in 2014, Rob worked in the joinery trade for eight years, learning his craft and expanding his joinery knowledge.
Wiveliscombe Joinery can design and manufacture all aspects of woodwork from traditional joinery, listed building repairs or alterations, new build and timber extensions, staircase and kitchen installations and one off commissions.
Our dedicated team are constantly looking at ways to improve our products and offer more variety through both traditional and modern working methods. All of our work is undertaken to the highest specification and standards using quality materials and fittings.
Alongside traditional hardwoods, the majority of our external windows and doors are manufactured from Accoya, chosen for its industry leading benchmark for performance and sustainability. No other timber offers the same combination of stability, durability and versatility for external joinery.
Accoya wood is sustainably sourced with FSC® certification and it has minimal environmental impact throughout its entire life; from production, through its use, right the way to the end of its life.
From our 4000sq ft dedicated workshop we are able to design, manufacture and install windows, doors, staircases, gates, porches and conservatories along with bespoke commissions and architectural joinery services to customers across Somerset and Devon.
